At Spoons of Dorset, we started as a small Ice Cream Parlour and expanded into a Cafe with a big dream. We wanted to share our love of food with the town, offering delicious and affordable meals to our community. Our menu now features a variety of homemade butter and flavored butters, showcasing our commitment to quality. Over the years, we have grown and expanded, but our dedication to customer satisfaction remains unchanged.
New Year 2025, I ventured out to the shops for ingredients, with butter being one of any caterer's top buys. The price had risen yet again, prompting me to examine the ingredients to understand why! The cost was secondary, but the quality of the ingredients was paramount. What was I feeding my customers!?
On my way home, this sparked my creative and health-conscious mind into action. I came up with the idea of making our own homemade butter, not just salted, but also a variety of flavored butters.
Currently, our flavored butters are on sale in local shops and flying off the shelves. I’m excited to announce that I will embark on the retail side and open a new shop, Spoons of Dorset, in Blandford Forum in 2026. A few things to look forward to include:

Myself and my wonderful little business have grown through it all, bringing us full circle to a shop selling ice cream, but this time, we will be making our own. Join us in our new venture and enjoy my delightful new additions. 🫶
