If you would like me to cover your event using my personal license to serve or sell alcohol.
Please Note:
I need to apply for a Temporary Event Notice (TEN):
- When to apply: You must apply at least 10 working days before the event.
- How to apply: You can apply online or download a postal form.
- Fees: There is a fee of £21.
- Number of TENs: You can apply for up to 50 TENs per year.
- Late TENs: You can apply for up to 10 late TENs per year, which can be applied for up to 5 working days before the event.
- What to include: You'll need to provide a clear description of the area where you'll be carrying out licensable activities.
- Number of people: You can't have more than 500 people on the premises at any one time when licensable activities are taking place.
- Send a copy to the police: You must send a copy of the TEN to the police and environmental health at least 10 working days before the event.
A TEN is required if you want to serve or sell alcohol, provide late night refreshment, or put on regulated entertainment at a temporary event. A temporary event is defined as an event that attracts fewer than 500 people and lasts no more than 168 hours.
